Teaching

Olivia Whiddon is passionate about nurturing the artistic voice of every student. As the founder of the Olivia Whiddon Academy of Music since 2011, she offers private lessons in voice, theatre, piano, and music theory to students of all ages and abilities in Kenora, Ontario.

Her students have achieved numerous awards, including the Tudor Bowl, the Janet Ramchandar Memorial Award, and the Vocal Rose Bowl, reflecting her dedication to excellence and personalized instruction.

Lessons are available both in-person at the First Baptist Church and online, running weekly from September through June.

In addition to private instruction, Olivia frequently conducts workshops and special guest teaching sessions, sharing her joy of music and theatre with the wider community.

Teaching Rates

Private Lessons:
$30 per half-hour session
$60 per full-hour session

Payment:
Payment is due in advance at the beginning of each month.

Group Rates:
Please contact for pricing and availability — tailored lessons designed for small groups or ensembles.

Drop-in Sessions:
Available upon request to accommodate individual needs and schedules, primarily intended for adult learners. Please get in touch to inquire.

Cancellation Policy:
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Payments are non-refundable for lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
